BE Mens Senior Pairs
Peter Hancock & Chris Sherriff faced a tough challenge at Chester Road BC against old foes Wayne White and Grant Burgess. Our guys were 12-7 down at 12 ends and there was an air of inevitability but they fought back to sit 3 shots up going into the last end. Wayne and Grant showed determination but were unable to snatch an extra end, resulting in a 15-14 win for Peter & Chris.

BE Mixed Fours
Rod & Sheila Payne and Deb & Chris Sherriff scored a resounding home win over a four from Hewell BC. Starting well, they were 7-0 up after just three completed ends (the Hewell skip had killed an early end when Lilleshall were holding multiple shots). Our four continued to score well and were 17-1 up after seven ends. Over the next four ends both teams added four shots, at which point Hewell conceded, being fifteen shots adrift with just seven ends to play. Final score 21-5.
Their next game was a huge challenge against a strong Chester Road BC team including county skip Maddie Burgess, National ladies champion Izzy White and multiple national champion Grant Burgess. They came a gallant second.
