A few late cancellations meant only twelve members took to the green to play the Jack Bayliss 4-wood drawn pairs competition.
The format of five rounds of just four ends resulted in no team being unbeaten, but two managed to win four of their five games. Shot difference was then taken into account, meaning that Thelma Stanley and Frank Hill were narrowly pipped into second place by the winners Marion Cutmore and Quentin Smith.
