Members turned out in slightly inclement weather to support Captain Sheila and Presdient Kath's charity day. The bowling was tackling Chris Sherriff's fiendish challenge rinks which included fixed and off centre jacks, poker cards, snooker breaks and more!
Other delights to part member and guests from their cash included guessing the number of sweets in the jar, a spider for a bottle of Welsh gin and an enormous raffle with 30+ donated prizes. More fun was had with Kath's quiz and episode of our own "Mr & Mrs", won by Barbara and Steve Turner.
Mark Hussell won the bowling with a score well ahead of the pack and Rod Payne won the spider (and a good number of raffle prizes).
A grand total of £313 was raised and will be split between Asbestos Support and the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund.
